How It Works:
In this adventurous gameplay, participants go on a mission covering 23 regions across the African continent. The challenge is to tread through this vast terrain, reaching King Solomon’s Mountains, mining as much gold as possible, and returning to the base camp alive – all within a tight timeframe of just 16 days. The Simulation has 4 constructs.
1. Briefing – Teams understand the rules and different roles required in the simulation,
2.Strategy time for Teams – Teams strategize the no. of gold to be mined, the route they
will take from Cape Town to the King Solomon’s Mountains in Southern Israel and back
alive, the resources they will carry along with them, and if they want to exchange the
resources at Cape Town or the Oasis,
3. Gameplay experience – Teams start their journey region by region to mine gold as planned, they will have to give a war cry /cheer cry every time they mine Gold, 4. Debriefing – This is where the penny drops, the participants are encouraged to reflect on the behaviors demonstrated by them and the impact of these behaviors on the goal of the team/ organization and share the same with other participants.
