We often hear from organizations

“Everyone plays it safe.”
“People don’t ask for help.”
“How to avoid working in silos.”
“We focus on survival, not growth.”
“We hoard resources and information.”
“We compete internally instead of collaborating.”

We address these challenges through The Quest for King Solomon’s Mines, an immersive business simulation that transforms team behaviors through strategic gameplay.

A High-Energy Simulation for Management Teams

Perfect for management teams of 20–300+ participants, this simulation creates scenarios where collaboration, resource optimization, and a growth mindset become essential to succeed. By navigating challenges together in this structured experience, teams learn how to avoid working in silos and develop practical skills they can immediately apply to workplace challenges.

  • Do More With Less: Enhanced ability to maximize existing resources rather than requesting more

  • Implement Fast: Immediately actionable ideas for workplace application

What You Experience During the Simulation

It begins at a base camp in Cape Town, South Africa.

From there, teams set off on a high-stakes expedition across 23 unpredictable regions, each one filled with hidden dangers, shifting weather, and limited resources. Their mission? To reach the legendary King Solomon’s Mines nestled in the deserts of Southern Israel, mine as much gold as possible, and return to basecamp alive.

All within 16 simulated days.

But this isn’t just a game.
It’s a test of strategic thinking under pressure.
Of balancing risk with reward.
Of knowing when to push forward and when to pivot.

As the simulation unfolds

Participants:

  • Navigate unexpected weather changes, terrain risks, and resource scarcity
  • Make real-time decisions on route planning, supplies, and teamwork dynamics
  • Face moments of chaos that force clear thinking and calm leadership
  • Learn to ask for help, trade resources, and work across teams—not just within them
  • Experience the power of collective decision-making under tight timelines

Participants not only learn strategy but also discover how to avoid working in silos in real-world scenarios.

What starts as competition often transforms into cooperation, leading to powerful realizations about how organizations function in real life.

The Power of Debriefing

The real impact happens after the game. During debriefs, facilitators guide participants to reflect on decisions, mistakes, and most importantly, how to avoid working in silos that slow performance.

Through expert facilitation, teams reflect on what they did, why they did it, and how it connects to their real-world behavior. What they uncover is often uncomfortable and incredibly transformative.

KSM isn’t just a simulation. It’s a mirror.
